Chicago Partner Greg Hummel co-authored an op-ed piece published Nov. 24 by the Chicago Sun-Times. In the article, Hummel proposes laying the groundwork for the Connector, a new public transit line which would serve a much expanded central area, and spurring private investment in Chicago’s South Side through a Chicago Transit Redevelopment Trust, part of a comprehensive transportation initiative being spearheaded by the Chicago Central Area Committee (CCAC), of which Hummel is the current chairman.
