Zena M. Ho practices in the Real Estate and Financial Services Client Service Groups. Zena represents banks, real estate companies, real estate investment trusts, and private equity funds in a wide variety of real estate transactions. She has extensive experience handling asset-based and real estate financing transactions, such as acquisition and development loans, construction loans, bridge loans, mezzanine loans, syndications, participations, and other intercreditor transactions. Zena regularly assists lenders in the purchase, workout, and restructuring of distressed loans. Her experience involves financing a broad range of real estate assets, including residential developments, franchises, office and industrial buildings, retail centers, residential and commercial condominium projects, and hotels.
Zena represents Fortune 500 companies in leasing, acquiring, and developing commercial real estate projects throughout California. She works closely with clients and title companies to resolve complex title matters involving boundary disputes, potential prescriptive easement rights, and other defects on title.
Zena served as the co-chair of the Irvine Bryan Cave Women’s Initiative and is an active member of the firm’s Women’s Forum.
Zena earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she was Chief Managing Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review.
