Tamara has spent her entire career defending and counseling businesses across many industries. Tamara has represented businesses in commercial disputes and regulatory matters as well as employment matters involving race, gender and disability discrimination, retaliation, and restrictive covenants in state and federal courts throughout the United States at both the trial and appellate court levels. She has also defended lawsuits involving personal injury, property damage, product liability, and insurance coverage claims.
In light of this breadth and depth of experience, Tamara has gained a unique perspective and understanding of the variety of risk and liability exposures faced by businesses. Her study in the fields of corporate compliance, risk management, and privacy and security have also made her well suited to assist companies, not only in responding to disputes, but also in taking proactive measures to avoid costly and time consuming litigation. Tamara works closely with in-house counsel to understand business objectives, develop strategy, assess and report on risk and liability exposure, and effectively manage claims to bring them to successful conclusion. Tamara has managed all aspects of disputes including conducting internal investigations, assessing compliance with internal policies and procedures, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and representing clients at arbitration and trial. Early in her career, she tried over 30 matters to verdict.
