Rachel Phillips practices in the areas of class actions and commercial litigation.  Her representative litigation experience includes:

  • coordinated e-discovery for all NHL hockey teams in conjunction with MDL concussion-related proceedings.
  • represented health insurers in complex commercial litigation involving claims for personal injury, bad faith, and negligent credentialing.
  • represented a number of regional and national financial institutions in federal and state courts.
  • obtained dismissal of numerous lawsuits involving challenges to the validity of residential mortgages under various legal theories.
  • represented lenders in connection with debt enforcement actions against commercial borrowers.

Rachel has also successfully represented parents of children wrongfully abducted and brought to the United States in violation of the Hague Convention.

Prior to joining the firm, Rachel externed for the Honorable David G. Campbell in the United States District Court of Arizona. In law school, she was Articles Editor for the Arizona Law Review.

Rachel is a member of Bryan Cave's United Way Committee and the Phoenix office's charitable group, Cavers Who Care.
