As a member of Bryan Cave’s White Collar Defense and Investigations group, Kristin Robinson defends individuals and corporations under investigation by government agencies. Her clients represent a variety of industries including energy, higher education, non-profit, technology and financial services. Ms. Robinson has experience defending clients under investigation by the Federal Trade Commission, the Internal Revenue Service, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Food & Drug Administration, and the Department of Justice. She also conducts internal investigations for clients that involve whistleblower complaints and other allegations of fraud or misconduct.
Ms. Robinson routinely counsels her clients on anticorruption matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. A keystone of her practice is her ability to understand her client’s business. This puts her in the best possible position to identify and mitigate risks before they become a problem by tailoring anticorruption policies, compliance programs, investigations and due diligence to each particular client, helping it to mitigate risk and achieve its business goals.
Through her Government Contracts practice, Ms. Robinson represents and counsels government contractors on issues including protests and disputes, terminations, obtaining small business status, allegations of fraud, compliance and contract formation. Ms. Robinson’s experience includes defending government contractors in litigation under the False Claims Act, representing them in bid protests before courts and government agencies.
