Kristin Petersen is a member of the Antitrust, Franchise, and Consumer Law group. Her practice is focused primarily on assisting clients with reviews of mergers and acquisitions by the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice and compliance with filing obligations under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 as well as under foreign competition and trade laws. In addition, Ms. Petersen has experience analyzing franchise and distributorship arrangements under federal and state law.
During law school, Ms. Petersen participated in the Saint Louis University School of Law Civil Advocacy Clinic, assisting clients with a variety of legal issues. While working with the Clinic, Ms. Petersen successfully briefed and argued an appeal before the Missouri Court of Appeals, Eastern District. She also competed nationally as part of the Saint Louis University National Moot Court Team.
