Kaitlyn Pettet’s work focuses on supporting the commercial needs and business objectives of her clients by emphasizing the utilization of innovation and new technology to improve efficiency and value for her clients. She provides advice to many public and privately-held companies in complex business process outsourcing (BPO) and information technology outsourcing (IT) transactions; software licensing, maintenance and development agreements, including software as a service (SaaS) and cloud and computing arrangements; internet-related and other technology-based service agreements; and other strategic procurements. She represents clients in their most critical strategic initiatives, ranging from the global transactions by multinational corporations to the core business deals of early start-up companies.
Ms. Pettet’s Financial Services practice includes corporate, regulatory and securities work. She advises banks and their boards of directors on their strategic plans, including organic and acquisition growth plans, sale transactions, strategic mergers and capital raises, as well as on complex regulatory issues.
Ms. Pettet received her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law. While in law school, she served on the Executive Boards of the Georgia State University Law Review and the Georgia State Law Moot Court Board. She also coached her Moot Court team to the 2017 Intrastate Moot Court Competition Championship.
