Julia Ost is an associate on Bryan Cave’s Commercial Litigation, Product Liability, and White Collar Defense and Investigations practice teams. Ms. Ost represents both companies and manufacturers in products liability litigation and contract disputes. She also represents financial institutions in cases involving loan servicing claims, federal lending laws and regulations, and consumer protection claims. Ms. Ost also assists with the defense of companies and individuals involved in antitrust and white collar criminal investigations by the Department of Justice and U.S. Attorney’s Offices. 

Ms. Ost has demonstrated her commitment to pro bono work during her time at Bryan Cave. Ms. Ost participates in a pro bono partnership between Bryan Cave and the Cobb Justice Foundation where each month attorneys represent victims of intimate partner violence at temporary protective order evidentiary hearings.

Ms. Ost earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University. At Vanderbilt, Ms. Ost served as a Notes Editor for the Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law. She also participated in Moot Court and Mock Trial competitions.

Prior to joining Bryan Cave, Ms. Ost served as a Special Assistant District Attorney for the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office. While serving in that position, Ms. Ost sat second-chair on a drug trafficking jury trial, argued motions to suppress, and negotiated plea agreements.
