As a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Client Service Group, Joy Anderson represents clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters in both federal and state court. Ms. Anderson has experience defending clients regarding various state and federal statutory violations, and she advises clients with respect to breach of contract and other tort claims. She represents clients including large banks and financial institutions, residential and commercial mortgage loan servicers, a leading foodservice distributor, and a real estate capital management company. As part of her work with the firm’s Airport Conceccsions Team, Ms. Anderson also represents concession operators in pursuing ACDBE certificaiton and recertifcation.

Ms. Anderson is committed to public service and has an active practice representing incarcerated individuals in prisoner civil rights cases. While in law school, Ms. Anderson participated in the Notre Dame Mediation Clinic where she provided free mediation services for domestic relation and small claims matters. In 2013, she was a family law intern at a legal aid agency, assisting with motions, pleadings and settlement agreements. Prior to law school, Ms. Anderson interned in the human resources department of a large credit card processing corporation.
