Eric Prezant represents clients in a wide range of commercial deal making, including corporate restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, commercial lending and finance, and loan workouts.  He aggressively represents corporate and lending clients to maximize values and accomplish their specific strategic and financial goals.  When a merger & acquisition transaction is desired, he leverages his expertise to assist strategic and financial buyers and sellers in structuring, negotiating, and documenting the purchase and sale of businesses and assets, with specific expertise in distressed and value-added transactions and debt purchases.

Mr. Prezant is the primary relationship attorney for several banking and financial institutions clients, handling a wide range of commercial loans and restructurings, including asset-based loans, senior and mezzanine debt, acquisition financing, bankruptcy exit financing, and alternative financing transactions.

Mr. Prezant also previously served in a senior management role at Bryan Cave as a member of the firm’s executive committee.

Mr. Prezant has been named as an Illinois Super Lawyer and as an Illinois Super Lawyer Rising Star for multiple years.  He is frequently invited to speak to groups of business professionals on the topics of commercial finance, asset acquisition and disposition, and loan restructuring.
