Craig Pacheco regularly advises both public and private company clients across a variety of industries with respect to mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate reorganizations, general commercial transactions and corporate governance matters. His practice also involves counseling companies operating in heavily regulated industries, such as insurance, food and agribusiness, and alcoholic beverages.
Mr. Pacheco is a member of the firm’s Agribusiness and Food Practice and its Global Hospitality Team, and he advises alcohol beverage industry clients with respect to licensing, advertising and marketing compliance, and general trade practice compliance with the regulations and policies of the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau as well as various state regulatory agencies. He also has experience with drafting commercial contracts for clients in the hospitality and sports and entertainment industries.
Mr. Pacheco is also a member of the firm’s Transactional and Regulatory Insurance Group and its Captive Insurance Group. His insurance practice focuses on assisting clients with the design, formation and licensing of insurance and captive insurance companies, insurance company merger and acquisition transactions and insurance regulatory matters.
During law school, Mr. Pacheco was a scholar in the Mitchell Jacobson Leadership Program in Law & Business, through which he also studied at the NYU Stern School of Business. Prior to law school, he spent several years working in corporate finance within the alcohol beverage industry.
