Chris Hazlitt is Managing Partner of the Boulder office and serves as outside corporate counsel to growing companies, helping them to build and realize maximum value. He regularly provides guidance to companies and investors in connection with structuring, negotiating, and documenting transactions, risk management, and dispute resolution. Chris also helps executives to negotiate, resolve and document employment and investment agreements, severance arrangements, and non-compete matters.
He regularly counsels companies ranging from emerging and start-up ventures to middle market enterprises, in various corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, and dispositions of businesses, operating units, and assets, and general commercial matters.
Chris frequently advises clients on capital formation strategy, private placements of debt and equity securities, strategic partnerships and joint ventures. He regularly leverages the experience of fellow Bryan Cave attorneys to represent companies in other key areas affecting business operations, such as technology and intellectual property and brand protection, transactions and licensing, employment, benefits, federal and state tax, real estate, antitrust, consumer product safety, cross-border and international transactions, white collar crime, and commercial litigation.
