Aaron Lang counsels clients in corporate transactions. He has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, including both private and public deals, and also handles corporate governance and securities-related matters. When approaching a deal, Mr. Lang partners with his clients to understand their business concerns and objectives and makes these a priority throughout the course of the transaction. He has managed diverse teams to support public and private companies in the financial technology, media, consumer products, automotive insurance (F&I), real estate, life sciences and pharmaceutical industries.  In addition, he also provides counseling to institutional investors with respect to alternative investments.

Mr. Lang is also a Certified Public Accountant and, prior to joining the firm, practiced at a Big Four firm where he provided auditing, consulting and tax services to global corporations.

  • Privately-held holding company in multiple roll-up acquisitions in the automotive finance and insurance (F&I) industry.
  • Privately-held company that provides and administers vehicle service contracts, vehicle protection programs and related vehicle warranties in the sale of the company to a private equity portfolio company.
  • Privately-held data analytics firm in its sale to a publicly-traded global media and technology company.
  • Mallinckrodt plc, a publicly-traded specialty biopharmaceutical company, in its acquisition of a global portfolio of three commercial-stage topical hemostasis drugs, valued at over $400 million.

  • Privately-held bank holding company in private placements aggregating over $150 million, and multiple public and private merger and acquisition transactions, culminating in a public merger-of-equals transaction creating one of the largest community banks headquartered in North Carolina with approximately $4 billion in assets.
  • A real estate joint venture in its acquisition of residential properties in New York City, as well as related capital raising and merger and acquisition transactions.
