Bryan Cave’s largest office is located in St. Louis, Mo., the city in which the firm was founded in 1873. Our attorneys have a long tradition of representing the large, international companies located in and around St. Louis. Currently, the office is home to more than 245 lawyers who continue to assist these sophisticated corporate clients in virtually all substantive areas of law.
The St. Louis community has provided Bryan Cave with a significant amount of support through the years. In return, the firm strives to give back through a variety of civic involvements. The office contributes to a wide range of non-profit groups, including the Komen Foundation Race for the Cure, the United Way of Greater St. Louis, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and United Cerebral Palsy (UCP). For the past six years, Bryan Cave’s St. Louis office has been the city’s top contributor to UCP. The firm is also an active supporter of Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.
Our lawyers have built a house for Habitat for Humanity; walked for the March of Dimes (backed by donations); and hosted the Adopt-A-Family program. Initiated more than a decade ago at the suggestion of a staff member, the Adopt-A Family program pairs a needy family with each of the office’s nine floors during the holiday season. Employees purchase gifts from the family’s wish list, making a large and direct impact on the community.
In addition, St. Louis employees serve on a number of area boards, including the St. Louis Leadership Summit on Diversity; the Regional Commerce and Growth Association of St. Louis; and the boards of area hospitals, colleges and universities. These philanthropic efforts all go a long way toward making Bryan Cave an integral part of St. Louis, and making St. Louis a great place to live and work.
