Join us for a complimentary webinar aimed at understanding the implications of the Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2), and in particular, the Access to Accounts provisions (XS2A) for Banks, Non-banks and the emerging payments landscape in the UK and EU. This webinar will be presented jointly by Bryan Cave and Polymath Consulting.
The Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) was published in the Open Journal of the European Union in January 2016. From this date Member States have 24 months to transpose the Directive into National Law. PSD2 is going to revolutionise how companies interact with consumers across the European market, and the XS2A provisions in particular will impact on both banks and non-banks on how they must work together in providing payment services. PSD2 is far more encompassing than the original Payment Services Directive 2009, and new rules and regulations that impact all organisations in the payment eco-system will apply from 2018 onwards.
This webinar will explain the changes that PSD2 is driving into the EU market, the opportunities and challenges that the Directive presents, and how organisations can benefit from the pending Regulation.
