San Francisco Partner Tracy Talbot will speak at the Women in Law & Leadership conference in Silicon Valley on April 19. The panel, “Self-Advocacy, Career Development & Personal Negotiation,” will examine ways to successfully network and promote yourself, how to transfer your current advocacy skills to your situation, how to set career goals, ways to ask for what you want and negotiating better compensation.
Talbot is a partner in Bryan Cave’s Commercial Litigation Group and is chair of the firm’s LGBTQ Lawyer's Affinity Group, office leader for Bryan Cave Women and co-chair of the San Francisco Recruiting Committee. She is deeply committed to increasing diversity in the legal profession, and continuously looks for opportunities to partner with clients to advance that goal.
Talbot’s practice includes complex litigation, intellectual property litigation, class action defense and managing a team of lawyers handling large volume litigation. She has significant experience handling all phases of litigation, including initial case assessment, developing and implementing pre-trial and trial strategy, managing efficient discovery plans, engaging in dispositive motion practice, formulating expert witness strategy and trying cases to verdict.
