Bryan Cave LLP’s Hong Kong Managing Partner Kristi Swartz presented June 12 at the 2nd annual Shaanxi-Hong Kong Financial Cooperation Forum, as part of the Chinlink International Financial and Technology Enterprises Exchange. Swartz spoke as a panelist, providing insight on the topic of “Preparation and Best Practices for Shaanxi Companies Wishing to IPO in Hong Kong."
The three-day event discussed the Longmen Action Plan as proposed by The People's Government of Xi'an Municipality in early 2018, the current state of the financial cooperation between Shaanxi and Hong Kong, and new opportunities in offshore listings and access to global capital markets. Chinlink International Holdings Ltd organizes the annual event to support the Belt and Road Initiative projects in Xi’an and Shaanxi by bringing financial resources and expertise to Xi’an and helping it tap the international capital market through Hong Kong, one of the world’s leading financial hubs.
“The forum is a win-win platform through which Xi’an and Shaanxi can tap into the financial expertise and international capital market access Hong Kong boasts while Hong Kong financial industry can explore the business opportunities from the Belt and Road Initiative and the Shaanxi Free Trade Zone,” said Li Weibin, chairman and managing director of Chinlink.
