The Turnaround Management Association (TMA), the leading organization dedicated to turnaround management, corporate restructuring and distressed investing, honored Phoenix Managing Partner Bryce Suzuki with the prestigious 2017 Turnaround of the Year Award on Oct. 23 in the category of Turnaround of the Year: Mid-Size Company. The award is in recognition for his work on behalf of the senior secured creditor in the Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases of Gilbert Hospital LLC and Florence Hospital at Anthem LLC. The winners were honored during a special awards celebration at the 2017 TMA Annual, which took place in Fort Worth, Texas.
Suzuki provides strategic business planning and dispute resolution assistance to a diverse range of lenders, companies, and business owners. His practice focuses on providing advice to clients affected by potential or actual insolvency issues. Suzuki has represented clients in a wide array of commercial restructuring and insolvency issues, including loan workouts, distressed asset sales, Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization, distressed financing, and bankruptcy appeals. In addition, he advises businesses, including early stage and growing technology companies, in the field of cryptocurrency (bitcoin), blockchain and related technologies.
