St. Louis Partners Chris Schmidt and Ken Mallin and Associates Tim Hasken and Jonathan Potts were noted July 13 by Law360 for their representation of the U.S. National Hockey League Clubs in connection with multidistrict litigation concerning the long-term effects of concussions. Plaintiffs, former hockey players, are asking the clubs to produce private medical information for all putative class members. The clubs argued that production of private medical information without the consent of the putative class members would violate the Americans with Disabilities Act, collectively bargained agreements and state medical privacy laws.
