The firm’s Shanghai office recently held an international trade seminar on how to manage China customs and tax risks related to royalty and transfer pricing.
Shanghai Director of PRC Tax Dr. Ye Zhou and Shanghai Associate Zhiwei Chen presented on the latest legal and enforcement developments, compliance implications, and strategies in dealing with the increasingly intensive audits and investigations by China tax and customs authorities. Los Angeles Partners Nicole Simonian and David Stepp joined the Nov. 3 event in person.
The seminar attracted around 30 legal counsel, finance managers, compliance managers and supply chain managers from multinational companies.
Dr. Zhou Ye has worked closely with Chinese tax authorities and numerous multinational firms.
