Headlines have focused on the “Peach Breach” — the Georgia Secretary of State’s inadvertent disclosure of sensitive information about more than six million Georgia voters.  As a result of this breach, Bryan Cave's Data Privacy and Security Team has received requests from clients in Georgia, and around the country, for information on how to prepare for, and respond to, a data breach. In response, the team has put together a week-long program beginning Nov. 30, which will include a one-hour webinar on an aspect of breach readiness and response each day.

  • Monday, Nov. 30: Data Security Boot Camp: A Crash Course in the Law
  • Tuesday, Dec. 1: Investigating Data Breaches: A Guide for In-House Counsel
  • Wednesday, Dec. 2: Cyber-Insurance
  • Thursday, Dec. 3: Data Breach Litigation
  • Friday, Dec. 4: Ethics and Data Breach Investigation

Celesq, the company that maintains the recordings of the programs, has agreed to waive the fee for any clients that wish to access them during the week. To receive a registration waiver, email Audrey Brekel at audrey.brekel@bryancave.com. To sign up for any, or all, of the programs, follow the instructions here.
