Atlanta Partner Jennifer Odom has been elected as chair of the Board of Directors for Camp Kudzu, Inc. Odom previously served as secretary to the board and has held numerous other leadership positions within Camp Kudzu. Odom has a strong commitment to the community and has held leadership positions with several civic and community organizations over the years.
Odom is a civil litigation attorney with a focus on business disputes, complex financial, commercial and corporate litigation, fiduciary litigation, and trust & estate litigation. Odom litigates matters involving various financial and business disputes, business divorce cases, corporate control disputes and business valuation. She also represents receivers in actions by the government to take over companies involving Ponzi schemes or fraud. In addition, as co-leader of Bryan Cave’s Fiduciary Litigation Team, Odom represents and advises fiduciaries, including executors, administrators, trustees, officers and directors, regarding fulfilling their fiduciary duties while serving in a fiduciary capacity.
Camp Kudzu Inc. educates, empowers and inspires children living with diabetes. Camp Kudzu is a Georgia-based nonprofit for children and teens living with type 1 diabetes. In addition, Camp Kudzu also helps families gain confidence, make connections with others like them, and increase their knowledge. Their major offerings are weeklong overnight Summer Camps, a weeklong Sprouts Day Camp, Family Camps and Teen Programs. Each program emphasizes fun and diabetes education.
