DC Partner LaDawn Naegle was quoted by Agenda on the conflict minerals rule applicable to U.S. public companies. The Agenda article explored the issue of some companies voluntarily disclosing whether products they manufacture are “DRC conflict free” and having their supply chain due diligence audited by an independent auditor. Naegle addressed that issue and the question of whether the conflict minerals rule could be expanded to include minerals in addition to the tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold currently covered by the rule.
