Chicago Associate Alejandro Montenegro has been named an Associate Board member of The Chicago Committee. The organization seeks to promote racial and ethnic diversity in the legal profession by collaborating with its law firm and corporate membership to drive sustainable institutional change at law firms and corporate legal departments; provide professional development; and cultivate the community of minority lawyers through programming and leadership opportunities.
Montenegro’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and technology, entrepreneurial and commercial transactions. He has experience representing domestic and foreign privately held companies, including representation in cross-border transactions. Montenegro has also helped entrepreneurs craft solutions related to entity formation or dissolution, corporate governance and local business certifications.
Bryan Cave’s Chicago office currently serves as the headquarters for the Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms and its administrative staff. In addition, Chicago Partner Jason DeJonker is a Chicago Committee Board Member.
