Chicago Partner Patrick McKey has been appointed to Chicago Volunteer Legal Services’ (CVLS) Board of Directors. CVLS is an organization of more than 3,000 volunteer attorneys who donate free legal services, as well as offer programs and host events for low-income residents seeking legal assistance in Chicago. CVLS is recognized as the most comprehensive, most efficient and most cost-effective civil legal aid provider in Chicago.
McKey’s diverse practice concentrates primarily on complex commercial litigation, international business disputes, product liability defense, mass and toxic tort defense, environmental and intellectual property litigation, as well as corporate counseling and public law. McKey has conducted internal investigations on behalf of clients and has counseled clients on the risks associated with potential litigation or regulatory action, and strategies for minimizing such risks. Representative clients include publicly-traded and privately-held corporations and their management, and officers and directors, individuals, governmental and regulatory agencies.
