Mandatory Paid Sick Leave for Arizona Employees: How Proposition 206 Impacts Your Business

May 18, 2017

On March 14, 2017, the Arizona Supreme Court unanimously rejected a challenge by an employer-backed group to Proposition 206. This means there is no further question about the $10/hour minimum wage. Most companies have addressed or are ready to address that.

But this is not enough. The sick leave portion provision of Prop 206 takes effect in July. For many companies, this will require new paid time off and sick leave policies, or at least revisions to their existing policies.

Join Bryan Cave attorneys Jay Zweig and Melissa Costello as they address the impacts of the new requirements of Prop 206 and how your company must prepare.

Time: 8:00am – 9:30am

Location: Ziegler Fiesta Bowl Museum (7135 E. Camelback Rd., Suite 190, Scottsdale, AZ 85251)
