Atlanta Associate Leah Fiorenza McNeill will participate on a panel regarding the Supreme Court’s landmark Jevic opinion at the 15th Annual Symposium of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal, Feb. 22 in Atlanta, Ga. The panel will address Jevic’s winners and losers in modern Chapter 11 practice, the unique uses of Jevic, and some of its consequences (intended or not).
Fiorenza McNeill is an associate in Bryan Cave’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Creditors’ Rights Group. Her restructuring and bankruptcy experience includes representation of distressed companies, Chapter 7 trustees, Chapter 11 liquidating trustees, creditors’ committees, and secured and unsecured creditors. Her experience includes litigation and appeals related to bankruptcy and insolvency matters in federal district court, bankruptcy court, and state court. In addition, she has experience in out-of-court workouts, liquidations, and other restructuring matters. Fiorenza McNeill also has particular experience in the food and beverage industry, having been involved in several transactions and litigation matters for restaurants, food distributors, and other industry players.
