Washington Partner Susan Kovarovics will co-present May 4 as part of a Massachusetts Export Center Webinar on global trade. The webinar will focus on global trade compliance due diligence for mergers and acquisitions.

While mergers and acquisition activity has been increasing globally, so has the need for proper preparation and due diligence in order to avoid global trade compliance liabilities. Kovarovics and her co-presenter will discuss how to identify hidden risks in preparation for mergers and acquisitions, as well as successor liability obligations.

At Bryan Cave, Kovarovics is co-leader of the firm's International Trade Client Service Group. She counsels U.S. and non-U.S. parties regarding international business regulatory matters. Specifically, her practice focuses on matters involving the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), U.S. anti-boycott laws, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
