Colorado Springs Of Counsel Tara Kepler will present Nov. 12-14 at the 2017 National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA). The association includes more than 800 independent, community-based telecommunication companies. Kepler will present on telemedicine legal issues that affect telecommunication companies when their systems are used to facilitate the delivery of health care services.
Kepler is a member of the firm’s Health Care Team. Her practice focuses on health care transactional and corporate compliance advice, with a concentration in telemedicine and digital health ventures. She has extensive experience in health care mergers and acquisitions, white collar crime, fraud and abuse, government investigations and HIPAA compliance.
In addition, Kepler is one of the most experienced telemedicine and digital health attorneys in the United States. She wrote the original book on telemedicine law published by the American Health Lawyers Association in 2007 and has since written multiple book chapters on the topic. Kepler is also regularly invited to speak locally, nationally and internationally on telemedicine law because of her unique experience over the past decade advising telemedicine industry executives on compliance issues for operations in all 50 states and internationally.
