Washington Partner Broderick Johnson was quoted June 19 in Politico regarding how President Obama worked with his Cabinet members. According to the article, President Trump prefers frequent meetings with select Cabinet members; the regular meetings have caused some concern that focus is being diverted from the day-to-day operation of executive branch departments and agencies. “(President) Obama was very clear in directing us to make sure that he stayed in touch with all of his Cabinet on a regular basis,” said Johnson, who served as President Obama’s Cabinet secretary during the final three years of his second term. “We were very prudent about using their time.
