St. Louis Partner Jerry Hunter was quoted Dec. 4 in Law360 regarding a memoranda released by the National Labor Relations Board’s new general counsel, Peter Robb, regarding a number of labor issues up for reconsideration. The list will allow certain priority issues, such as handbook rules and the scope of federal protections for workers’ concerted activities, to be expedited by the general counsel for review by the five-Member Board. “I think there was a need for this type of memo, just because the previous board went as far as they could go in overturning longstanding precedent,” said Hunter, a former NLRB general counsel. “It is probably one of the most comprehensive memos I’ve seen.”
