Bryan Cave’s Hong Kong office hosted a fintech seminar with True Global Ventures, May 10 in Hong Kong. The seminar aimed to showcase growth-stage fintech startups, identify future blockchain and trends, and help bring the industry together. The event boasted 135 attendees, including top industry leaders in FinTech.
Hong Kong Managing Partner Kristi Swartz, Associates Rebecca Lai and Christina Lau, and Berwin Leighton Paisner (HK)’s Partner Ian Ivory attended the event. Swartz also presented on the panel “The Past, the Present and the Future of Private Markets.”
Swartz concentrates her practice in corporate finance and securities with a focus on SFC investigations and fintech matters. She is well versed in advising on fintech services such as robo-advisory, peer-to-peer lending through to guiding clients to structure complaint initial coin offerings (ICOs). In addition, Swartz represents clients in strategic commercial transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, private equity, alternative financing and other corporate matters.
