New York Partner Andrew Auerbach participated as a speaker at the 13th Annual Winter Forum on Real Estate Opportunity & Private Fund Investing, Jan. 20-22, 2016 in Laguna Beach, Calif.
More than 1,000 people attended the three-day event, which highlighted many of the anticipated trends in the commercial real estate (CRE) industry. As interest rates continue to rise and property prices hit higher peaks, the forum helped CRE investors gain industry insights and adapt their strategy to succeed during the year ahead. The event featured NFL Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith as the keynote speaker as he shared his experience working in real estate development, investment and construction.
Auerbach is co-leader of Bryan Cave’s Real Estate Private Equity and REIT Practice. He concentrates his practice on the structuring, negotiation, documentation, and administration of a broad spectrum of syndicated and non-syndicated loan transactions. His experience extends to secured and unsecured loans, acquisition credit facilities, senior and subordinated credit facilities, asset-based loan facilities, multicurrency facilities, cross-border financings, and real estate financings (including securitized loans). In addition, Auerbach advises clients in connection with public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, complex restructurings and workouts, joint ventures, and real estate private equity investments.
New York Partner Ian Weiskopf, Santa Monica Partner Mal Serure and Irvine Associate Vanessa Sunshine also attended the forum.
