Atlanta Associate Angelia Duncan joined a panel Feb. 6 at Auburn University’s Diversity Best Practices Conference. The panel, “Women in Leadership: Accelerating Change and Expanding Influence,” discussed barriers to women’s achievement and strategies for change within various fields. The conference attracted more than 300 attendees from across the country. Sponsored by Auburn’s Office of Inclusion and Diversity, the event focused on providing professionals and students with new approaches to promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives within their organizations.
Duncan is a commercial litigator whose practice focuses on business disputes, employment matters and unfair competition. She also litigates and advises on matters involving real estate and construction disputes. Duncan frequently litigates claims arising out of employment relationships, including discrimination claims, the enforceability of noncompetition and nonsolicitation covenants, and trade secret disputes. She also has handled all manner of property-related disputes throughout the state of Georgia.
