Atlanta Partner Jennifer Dempsey will present Nov. 1 at Centerforce’s Women Diversity and Change Summit in Atlanta. The annual summit explores how to create lasting change for women and minorities in the legal profession through topics including self-advocacy, unconscious bias, sponsorship and succeeding in male-dominate environments.
Dempsey will present on the panel “Increasing the Diversity of Legal & Corporate Leadership,” which will cover the benefits of diversity in the legal and corporate world and how organizations, law firms and individuals can improve diversity.
Dempsey's practice at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner includes representing clients in commercial tort actions, commercial contract disputes, insurance and surety litigation, financial institution litigation and class action defense in the courts and arbitration settings. She has extensive experience representing corporate clients, financial institutions and individuals in complex commercial litigation. Dempsey is active in the community and previously served on the Board of Directors of CHRIS Kids, a nonprofit devoted to improving the community by providing children, adults and families with high-quality, trauma-informed behavioral health services and support systems, and Everybody Wins Atlanta. Dempsey frequently speaks on legal issues such as evidence and social media and the law.
