New York Partner Mary Beth Buchanan will present at Digital Finance Institute’s 3rd Annual Fintech Conference, May 3 in Vancouver, Canada. Buchanan will speak during the “Advanced Legal and Practical Issues with Blockchain” session.

This year, the conference will focus on fintech and financial crime, including ways that cutting-edge technology such as machine learning is being deployed for cyber security, digital identity management, and managing financial risks for financial services, casinos and realtors. This conference is targeted to lawyers, regulators, government agencies, universities, law enforcement, realtors, casinos, advisory firms, tech firms and students. 

Buchanan is a partner in Bryan Cave’s White Collar Defense & Investigations and Securities Litigation & Enforcement Client Service Groups and chairs the firm’s Digital Currency Team.  She concentrates her practice on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations and corporate compliance, digital currency and blockchain matters, foreign corrupt practices, SEC, CFTC and FINRA enforcement actions, congressional investigations and complex civil litigation.
