Bryan Cave Denver Partner Randy Miller received the 2017 Doak Jacoway Volunteer Board Member of the Year award Sept. 6, at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting. The award is presented annually to a Chamber Board member who has promoted the vision and mission of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce through leadership and volunteerism.

Recipients are selected by fellow chamber board members and the senior staff of the chamber and are highlighted annually in the organization’s year-end report. The Denver Metro Chamber focuses on discovery of critical issues that determine the future health of the community and economy by encouraging economic growth, promoting education, and building future leaders through their network and resources.

As a lawyer, Miller has an active commercial litigation practice at Bryan Cave, where he regularly handles disputes focused on business transactions and M&A litigation, investment management and real estate investment management issues, including separations, documents and data, employee transitions, and investment disputes. Previously, he was one of six members of the firmwide Management Committee and served for several years as the office managing partner of the firm’s Denver office.

Miller recently was elected chairman of the board of the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation. The foundation’s board of directors is comprised of community leaders from many industries. Saint Joseph Hospital is the largest private teaching hospital in Denver.
