Bryan Cave Chief Practice Economics Officer Christopher Emerson and Los Angeles Managing Partner Douglas Thompson will present at the Association of Corporate Counsel-Southern California’s (ACC SoCal) In-House Boot Camp on Sept. 13 in Playa Vista.

Their panel, “Achieve Your Goals: Marrying the Business of Law with the Practice of Law,” will assess effective collaboration among in-house law departments, their business teams and outside law firms. Specific topics include best practices for tracking and leveraging law department metrics, systematizing commercial contracting and evaluating alternative fee arrangements.

“Legal operations, new technologies and alternative pricing solutions can build better relationships, enable financial management and make life easier for the in-house lawyer,” said Emerson. “Bryan Cave helps our clients leverage these innovations to their benefit.”
