The Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) has recognized Bryan Cave as a 2017 Top Performer. The designation annually goes to the most active member corporations and law firms – those that have committed the most time and energy to participating in LCLD programs.
LCLD is an organization of more than 275 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners dedicated to creating a diverse U.S. legal profession. The organization’s programs are designed to attract, inspire and nurture talent, thereby helping a new and more diverse generation of attorneys ascend to positions of leadership.
Bryan Cave has been a member of LCLD since its inception and firm Chair Therese Pritchard is Bryan Cave’s representative to the organization. Bryan Cave has had a partner or attorney in the LCLD Fellows Program each year. Bryan Cave Chicago Partner Jason DeJonker is the immediate past chair of the Executive Council for the Fellows Alumni Association for LCLD. Bryan Cave participates in the LCLD Pathfinder Program, has participated in the 1L LCLD Scholars Program each year since 2013, and has joined the annual LCLD Success in Law School Mentoring Program since 2012.
“The bar LCLD sets for its Top Performers is raised every year, and yet the number of Member organizations that exceed it also continues to grow, up by 11 from 2016,” LCLD reported. “In 2017, 52 LCLD Member organizations earned the distinction of Top Performer for their participation in and support of LCLD’s mission.”
