Bryan Cave will host IAPP’s Denver KnowledgeNet Chapter meeting on Feb. 22 at the University of Colorado Law School. The meeting will address the costs and impacts of a data breach and provide guidance on estimating the cost of a data breach by presenting an understanding of a variety of factors, including the likelihood that various cyber-events will occur and the impact each might have on an organization. Speakers, including Bryan Cave Boulder Partner David Zetoony, will discuss how to approach building an estimate in a methodical and analytic manner.
Zetoony is the leader of Bryan Cave’s global Data Privacy & Security Practice. He has extensive experience advising clients on how to comply with state and federal privacy, security and advertising laws, representing clients before the Federal Trade Commission, and defending national class actions. He is a frequent speaker and writer on data privacy and security topics and is co-chair of the Colorado regional network of IAPP.
