St Louis Partner Lawrence Brody will present June 30 at American Law Institute’s CLE program, Estate Planning in Depth 2017. The six-day program will run June 25-30 in Madison, Wis., and will be available via video webcast.

Brody will present on the panel “20 of the Top 30 Insurance Planning Mistakes,” which will cover mistakes commonly made in estate planning and tips for avoiding them when planning for the use of life insurance with a client. Other panels will discuss tax implications and compliance requirements faced by international clients, family business succession planning, and hot topics in trust and estate planning.

Brody practices at Bryan Cave as a member of the Private Client Group. He is an adjunct professor at Washington University School of Law and a visiting adjunct professor at the University of Miami School of Law. He focuses his practice on estate planning for high net worth individuals and the use of life insurance in estate and non-qualified deferred compensation planning. He has authored two BNA Tax Management Portfolios, two books for the National Underwriter Company, and is a frequent lecturer at national conferences on estate and insurance planning.
