New York Counsel Suzanne Berger will moderate a panel March 20 at the Rockland County Bar Association’s (RCBA) Mortgage Foreclosure Update CLE program in New York. The panelists, Hon. Mark C. Dillon, Associate Justice Appellate Division, Second Department, Hon. Paul Marx, Justice of the Supreme Court, Rockland County, and Derek S. Tarson, Esq. Legal Aid Society of Rockland County, Inc., New City, New York, will cover a wide range of topics related to foreclosure, including recent case law, developing legal issues, pre-foreclosure notices, statute of limitations, reverse mortgages and more.
Berger’s practice has a special emphasis on litigation arising out of commercial loan enforcement, mortgage foreclosures, landlord-tenant disputes and construction issues. Currently, she represents a leading national financial institution, as loan servicer, managing a portfolio of more than 500 contested foreclosures and other mortgage-related litigation throughout the state. She also represents various special servicers in connection with multimillion dollar distressed commercial real estate loans in New York City and its suburbs.
