New York Partner Sonia Bain will participate as a speaker during the Real Estate Weekly Women’s Forum. She will moderate the “Neighborhood Changes, What’s Happening in Development” panel. This June 14 program will be hosted by the New York City Bar Association. 

From the Hudson Yards to Billionaires Row, Brooklyn to Lower Manhattan, the panel will examine development progress and various trends including in pricing, uses, technology and the purchasing power of developers, tenants and residents.

As a member of the Real Estate Client Service Group, Bain focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions. Her experience includes the representation of retail companies, developers, hotel groups, landlords and tenants in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, development, ground and space leases, financing and leasing of commercial properties. She has worked on transactions involving numerous types of commercial assets including mixed-use, residential, retail, hotel and industrial properties throughout New York City and other major markets. Bain also holds several leadership positions within WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate, including acting as a board member of both the WX Inc. Board and the WX Charitable Fund Board and is co-chair of the WX Mentoring Committee, which promotes and supports women in the commercial real estate industry.
