Bryan Cave’s Atlanta office hosted the first session of its signature women’s leadership training program, The Power Project, at a conference April 22-23. The annual program is an opportunity for executive-level women in the Atlanta community to come together to learn and share ideas about leadership and success. This event is one of many put on by Bryan Cave Women, the firm’s affinity group for women lawyers.

The Power Project helps women create their own personal brand, practice the art of tactful self-promotion, learn influence and communication techniques, set professional goals, and learn other strategies to help them succeed in their businesses. Participants come from top Atlanta and worldwide companies, such as Wells Fargo, Dematic, Turner Broadcasting, Altisource, Aaron’s Inc., GE Energy, SunTrust Bank, DTI, Bank of America, Cox Communications, and Coca-Cola, among others.

Atlanta Partners Jen Dempsey and Jennifer Odom run the Power Project as its chief empowerment officers, with input from a board that includes Atlanta Partner Kim Civins and five clients. The board planned the content of the Power Project conference. Dempsey, Odom, Civins, Irvine Partner Steve Sunshine and several board members gave presentations.
