Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner in Paris has co-organized with the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) NextGen startup group an event that asks the question, "How do you navigate a transformational event in your company?"
Special guest speakers Nov. 7 will be St. Louis Partner Kathryn Elliott Love, a key member of the BCLP’s startup practice; Alain Ries, CEO of Neocase Software, a French software company delivering SaaS HR employee relationship and business process automation solutions; and Paul Prins, the founder and president of FreshVine and co-chair of AmCham’s startup program.
The event is geared toward entrepreneurs or startups looking to acquire another startup, startups searching for VC money, or startup founders hoping to secure their company’s next step (be it through a sale or succession).
This interactive workshop on startup mergers and acquisitions is an opportunity for entrepreneurs to discuss business concerns with others in the field who have counseled companies for decades. Speakers will examine transactions that involve startups and will give a crash course on negotiation skills.
This event takes place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Next Door, 207 rue de Bercy - 75012 Paris. For more information, please contact Caroline Esser.
