London Partner David Adler will present at the inaugural STEP BeNeLux conference in Luxembourg City, Sept. 25-26. The two-day seminar will discuss the latest global solutions and traditional, current and future issues for international families. STEP is the global professional association for practitioners who specialize in family inheritance and succession planning.

Speakers will cover Luxembourg regulations in the global environment, recent court cases, wealth planning in the Netherlands and Belgium, EU succession regulation and more. Adler will present Sept. 26 on the panel “Wealth Management and Advisory – Touchpoints with Leading International Financial Centers,” which will focus on wealth management for families based in Europe.

David Adler is a U.S. tax lawyer who advises international entities, individuals and intermediaries on planning that has a U.S. component. Along with core U.S. federal income, estate and gift tax advice, he provides a U.S. perspective on issues of wealth preservation and transfer, as well as on corporate governance and family succession for privately held businesses. He is also a highly experienced adviser on issues arising under the U.S. Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and the OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS).
