Yi Huang has experience in a wide range of corporate and cross-border transactions, including U.S. and global private equities, PIPE transactions, mergers and acquisitions, wholly foreign owned enterprises (“WFOE”), and domestic and international joint ventures. Ms. Huang often represents private funds and investment fund managers in the United States and abroad in venture capital financings and in financings with publicly traded issuers in the United States and Asia. She also provides day-to-day PRC-related corporate law advice to clients.
Ms. Huang also has experience with employment laws and regulations. She frequently advises Chinese subsidiaries of U.S. companies on labor-related issues in China, including review of employment agreements and employee handbooks. Before joining the firm, Ms. Huang worked for several Chinese law firms and was a volunteer lawyer for the Shanghang Municipal Legal Aid Center.
