Over the years, Mr. Metcalfe has been involved in numerous civic engagements:

• Represented owners in the purchase, restructuring and resale of the New England Patriots National Football League franchise
• Served as lead lawyer in the organization of Kiel Center Partners, L.P., the financing and construction of the new Scottrade Center and acquisition and operation of the St. Louis Blues
• Represented the St. Louis NFL group in the establishment of legislation and financing for the construction of the Edward Jones Dome expansion of the St. Louis Convention Center
• Helped to organize Grand Center, Inc., the developer of the arts and entertainment district in St. Louis
• Represented the Missouri Botanical Garden, Monsanto Company, the University of Missouri and Washington University in the organization, funding and construction of the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center
