William Maloney practices in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy and public development law. He has experience in representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts in Missouri and Kansas and has conducted arbitrations under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Areas in which he has litigated include condemnation of property for redevelopment, land use disputes, insurance coverage issues, personal injury defense, contract and employment claims and bankruptcy related proceedings. While attending law school, Mr. Maloney placed third in the nation in an American Bar Association negotiation competition. He has participated in the Inns of Court program, a litigation skills development course for new attorneys. Mr. Maloney graduated second in his law school class at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He was a journalist prior to attending law school.
