Serena Yee
regularly counsels clients on matters relating to the design and administration of welfare and fringe benefit plans, executive compensation and qualified retirement plans including compliance with the Internal Revenue Code, ERISA, HIPAA and COBRA. Ms. Yee also assists clients with negotiation and drafting of employment, severance and change of control agreements for executives as well as the design and drafting of nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements. Ms. Yee frequently serves as benefits counsel on corporate transactions and has represented clients in connection with Department of Labor audits of employee benefit plans and with respect to the Voluntary Fiduciary Correction Program.
Areas of Concentration: Welfare benefit plans, nonqualified deferred compensation, consumer driven health care arrangements, qualified retirement plans and cafeteria plans.
